SpaceX BFR is the new Starship, says CEO Elon Musk

Elon Musk has just named SPACEX BFR to SPACESHIP

While there's silence on taking tourist trip on SpaceX's next-generation rocket and spacecraft platform but CEO Elon Musk has just named his device formerly known BFR(Big Falcon Rocket) to STARSHIP, explaining in a tweet, "Starship" meaning spaceship/upper stage" while it's rocket booster is simply the Super Heavy,in his late Monday tweet. It should be noted that the company has made quite a progress ranging from SpaceX signing Japanese billionaire entrepreneur Yusaku Maezawa to be the first private citizen to take a flight around the Moon in the BFR, a 240,000-mile journey slated for as early as 2023, although BFR is still yet to be built or rather in it's early stages of development, it's design depicts a 118-meter long two-stage reusable spaceship capable of taking a 100-metric ton to Mars.

But as one of Musk’s Twitter followers noted, "unless this starship is sent on a mission to another star system it can’t be called a starship." Musk informed the stakes for the anticipation with "Later versions will," response supposedly meaning that the future version of the Starship will leave our star system. The closest star system to our sun is the Alpha Centauri system, which is about 4.3 light-years from Earth.However you wish to put it, SpaceX has big plans for the new vehicle.
