Apple Reportedly Cuts Production Of iPhones

Apple's production reduction could be the end of new iPhones

Earlier report on iPhone XR was for it to be sold pretty well and early estimation suggested that it's possibility of exceeding even the iPhone relating with the pre-orders,however it seems like the all round profit is not high as expected of an Apple product.

This is according to a report from Nikkei in which it was reported that Apple had cancelled the production boosts that it had initially asked for from suppliers such as Foxconn and Pegatron. According to Nikkei’s source, “For the Foxconn side, it first prepared nearly 60 assembly lines for Apple’s XR model, but recently uses only around 45 production lines as its top customer said it does not need to manufacture that many by now.”the report also holds that Apple had reached out to another supplier, Wistron, in advance to standby for rush orders, outside of this information from the supply chain is heard that Wistron is yet to receive the orders which is anticipated this holiday season while some expected the iPhone XR to sell well owing that it's thought to be a cheaper model compared to the iPhone Xs and XS having featured the same specs.

It is unreadable why the handset isnt being received as Apple expected it to have nearly 70 million units made, having asked for third production of that amount between September 2018 and February 2019, as reported today by the Wall Street Journal in regards to Apple's reducing the production of all three new iPhones launched barely a couple of months ago , well it seems that Apple is now boosting the production of older iPhone models such as the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus due to lower request of the new devices. Who knows, this may be less troubling for Apple’s balance sheet than it sounds. The company has gradually shifted from relying on the most units sold to making the most money it can off of a unit sold. That’s one of the reasons why it will no longer be unveiling unit sales for iPhones in its profit results.
